Did you know that 30 April was designated as International Jazz Day by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)? UNESCO saw the significance of jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe and this year International Jazz Day is chaired and led by UNESCO Director, General Audrey Azoulay, and legendary jazz pianist and composer, Herbie Hancock.
2022 All-Star Global Concert
This year, the 2022 All-Star Global Concert will be hosted at UN General Assembly Hall at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The concert seeks to make a powerful statement in support of peace, healing and unity through a diverse series of performances by leading jazz artists from around the globe.
